Scarlett Bowman (b. 1985, London) lives and works in London. Bowman graduated from Chelsea College of Art, London, in 2014. Bowman is known to morph her abstract reliefs by playfully rearranging them, effectively undermining notions of archiving.
One can find a clear dissatisfaction for modernity in her original artwork through her depictions of commodity and manufacture; fathoms of imperfection made no better by the brutalization of recorded history. Her work has been included at numerous auctions and galleries, including: Fold gallery, London; Rook and Raven, London; Balzer Projects, Switzerland, Soho House Group.
